Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor to present the first International Workshop on Ear Surgery that will be held in Modena, Italy, from the 8^th to the 10^th of May 2024.

The Workshop will deal with every aspect of ear surgery both in its endoscopic and its microscopic techniques and it will also focus on lateral skull base surgery, hoping to provide updates and insights on these exciting surgical fields.

Don’t miss the chance to listen to our international faculty of world level surgeons coming from more than 20 countries from all over the globe. The Workshop will be made up of round tables, special lectures and grand rounds, with the addition of a live surgery event each day. Moreover, we developed new scientific formulas to address the young surgeons that will take part in the event, with tips and tricks and scary cases sections and dedicated spots in our schedule for them to present their research experience and thrilling cases on the congress topics.

A Precongress Dissection Course has been fashioned to take place right before the start of the Workshop, on the 7^th of May, at the University Hospital of Modena, dealing with endoscopic ear surgery and with experienced tutors providing their knowledge to the attendees.

The Workshop venue will be the University Hospital of Modena, a short distance away from the city center, the airport, the railway station, and the main motorways. Modena is a beautiful, rich with history city in the northern part of Italy, dating back to the Romans. We hope you can take the time to stroll around the ancient city center and to marvel at its churches and buildings. Moreover, Modena is famous for its balsamic vinegar and opera heritage, and it is the birthplace of Ferrari cars, boasting a fine museum of its motorsport legacy.
